Avignon France Tourist Information and Vacation Guide
The city of Avignon France has two main train station:
The Avignon Central Train Station is located just outside the city
ramparts, at the south end of Cours Jean Jaurez. It is a
pleasant walk from the train station to the city centre.
The Gare TVG train station is located on the outskirts of Avignon. There is a shuttle
bus that connects this new station to Avignon city centre. A bus ticket
costs 1.20 euro. Alternative, a taxi ride to the city centre will cost
around 15 euro.
