Avignon France Tourist Information and Vacation Guide
Palace Square is one of the two main city squares in Avignon
France. Situated in front of the Palais des Papes, the square is a
great place to relax and enjoy the surrounding architecture. The Petit Palais (small palace) is also located
at the high end of the square.
From the hillside overlooking the square, visitors can see the
historic clock tower that is located adjacent to Avignon’s city hall.
